About this site

A free, UK-focused reward flight calculator and points-and-miles blog.

What this site is

Airline Reward Flight Costs is a free calculator that compares reward flight prices across 22 airline loyalty programmes for 41 destinations from London. Alongside the calculator, the Points & Miles Blog runs 80+ articles covering the UK side of airline and hotel loyalty: how to earn, how to redeem, when each programme is genuinely worth it, and where the sweet spots sit.

Who it's for

British travellers, whether you've never collected an Avios before or you've been Gold with British Airways since the nineties. The site avoids assumptions about US-only credit cards, US tax law and US-centric airline programmes; all currency examples are in pounds.

How the data is sourced

Calculator pricing comes from each airline's publicly documented award chart at the time of last review (May 2026). Awards charts change frequently and dynamic-pricing programmes (such as Flying Blue and the newer AAdvantage own-metal awards) are shown using the published floor or Saver level, with a note in the calculator legend. Always confirm pricing on the airline's own website before booking.

What this site is not

  • It is not a booking site. We don't sell tickets, take affiliate revenue, or earn referrals from any of the airlines or card issuers mentioned.
  • It is not financial advice. Articles about credit cards are general guidance; always check current terms on the issuer's website before applying.
  • It is not a static reference. Loyalty programmes change. Where we know a chart has updated since publication, the article footer is dated; treat older articles with appropriate caution.
